Energy conservation and Environmental protection

 For this work, I believe energy conservation and environmental protection is a popular culture and I think it is an upward trend in the future. I tried to collect some things to show waste energy conservation and environmental protection this idea, such as some old batteries, CDs, films, and I try to put them and mix them with some brightly colored paint. So for this piece I want to express the meaning of our family and we ourselves are the biggest pollutant source,and everyday contact with these high-tech products and use them constantly abandoned them, but the approach is needed to save the pollution recycling and reuse so I chose these bright colors represent to them repeated use of a new life.So I investigated and found some information some of the reasons why it is an upward trend in the future.

   
In order to solve such problems,  families could use brighter wallpaper or paint which could help their house looks not so dark that they could turn the light off. Besides, people could use liquid colour to decorate their house and waste batteries and CDs. They could use these things to make their home more beautiful and enjoyable. It could also help them save the money on buying such things. In addition, if they use these things to decorate their house, they will not need to use other resources and energy.

  As far as we concern, waste batteries and CDs are not very useful. However, as the technology improved, the material of textile has become wider. We could use waste CDS, films and Batteries as a inspiration of the material of textile. To make it become a new type of textile, it could even be used in the fashion design.

   There is only one earth, and natural resources are not inexhaustible. Luckily, the human kind is realizing the problem and is taking actions. This is the introduction of energy conservation and environmental protection industry. This industry will be a trend of future as household pollution will only become worse if nothing is done, and every country is trying their best to save energy as much as possible. This industry just begins to crop up, as people are studying on energy-efficient products such as energy-saving bulb, and central air conditioning, etc. Moreover, an international energy saving day is set, and Green Olympics was the theme in the 2008 Olympic Games.So if we do not pay enough attention to energy conservation and environmental protection, the victim will be ourselves, and our global village we live by.

Finally,a good living and working environment is the preemptive condition for the human kind to survive, and protecting environment is protecting ourselves. Today we are faced with an increasingly worse ecological condition and lacking of energy resources, and this is supposed to be a wake-up call for us to realize that it remains our shared responsibility to protect the environment, save the energy and save the earth we are living on.

Minority language

Many people may have the feeling that since English is the universal language, it is unnecessary to learn a different language. However, this turns out to be a misunderstanding and nearsightedness. As the world is becoming increasingly multi-polar, and globalization and regional economy integration is promoted, there is a growing demand for minority language talents. More and more people go abroad for business opportunities, and more have to live under a cross-cultural atmosphere, and not all of the people use English as the working or living language. As a result, more people choose to learn Japanese, Spanish, French, Tai-language, Arabic instead of English language. How to choose minority language is mainly based on the economic development of the local region, but cultural aspects are also very important. Overall, as the world is becoming a global village, the demand for minority language talents will only keep up rising.

Robots

Robotic industry is chosen because of the saying which goes as “the 21st century will be a century of robots”. Currently, the industry enjoys a fast annual growth rate of 30%. Why is it developing so fast? Machines like engine and car greatly reduce people’s physical labor, while computer greatly reduces people’s brain work. Robot – the combination of mechanical machine and computer is certainly bound to do a lot of work for the mankind. Currently there are about 300 thousand industrial robots working in refined processing, paint spraying or transporting. When the working condition is bad or extreme for human kind to work, industrial robot can take up the responsibility. In the family, robot can be a loyal servant for housekeeping, cleaning, babysitting, parenting or nursery. In the factory, robots can work under different conditions for 24 hours without rest, and this will greatly increase production and reduce cost. 

In a word, the robotic industry is a promising industry in the future.

Artificial intelligence

   I chose artificial intelligence because I believe it is in an upward trend for the future. The human kind has always dreamed of inventing a machine to do a lot of work for them. Due to increasing cost of work labor and fast scientific development, artificial intelligence technology is undergoing rapid development in some advanced countries such as America, Europe and Japan, etc. IBM is a typical company active in the AI field, and the ASCI White computer it developed claims to possess one thousandth of human intelligence. 

   AI technology is widely used in every aspects of social life, including medicine and scientific researches, etc… It is everywhere and greatly facilitates our daily work and lives. AI is highly efficient for replacing human labor. However, it also causes certain problems. For instance, material producing causes some pollution, and modern people are becoming more reliant on AI equipments. One example is the abuse of cell-phone reduces the frequency of face-to-face communication. Nevertheless, it will not change as a promising business trend for the future.

overseas property purchase

    I believe the overseas property purchase will also be a popular culture in the future. Recent years have witnessed more and more Asian people purchasing property in Europe and America. This is because for highly populous countries like Japan and China, the domestic property price keeps rising due to population growth and high domestic demand. On the other hand, these investors regard this as a business opportunity and begin to do real estate business in foreign countries. For instance, according to the first Overseas House Purchase Festival hosted in Shanghai, during the half year, Chinese investors purchased a lot of properties in overseas hot spots. They also caught great attention from foreign property developers and sellers, and dozens of realtors from Australia, America, England, Japan and other countries participated in the Festival and introduced several overseas projects to Chinese investors.

   

   According to a recent TV dialogue program, the first choice of place of Chinese investors for house purchasing is Australia, Canada, Singapore and America, etc. According to predicts, about 10 billion US dollars of private capital will outflows abroad, of which over half will be invested in real estate property; shanghai will be the biggest market for China’s overseas property investment.

Therefore, I believe this will also be a trend in the future, as Chinese people are getting richer and financially capable.

investment immigration

Recently more and more Asian people choose to live and work in European countries through investment immigration programmes and it enhances the economy of European and other western countries.

From the traditional point of view, Europe is not a traditional immigration area. For instance, Germany, Spanish and Italy have strict requirements on the cost, working place, right of habitation and naturalization, but its favorable living and working conditions attracts the focus of foreign investors and many people still want to have a try. On the other hand, traditional immigration countries such as England greatly loosen up the visa limitation of people holding massive wealth. For instance, England encourages overseas investors to immigrant through investment, and shortens the time for application. According to the new rules, larger investment amount will need shorter time for acquiring permanent residence. 

According to 2011 China Private Wealth Report, China’s billionaires have strong intention of immigrating to a foreign country through investment. For populous and fast-developing countries like China, it is natural to deduce that investment immigration will be a hot trend in the future.

    With the TED lecture, we have been told that nowadays fast fashion is harming our environment. In order to improve the whole situation, textile will have a huge responsibility to solve this  problem.            
    However,with the development of technology in our lives, we are more and more attention to environmental protection. I found a designer in Hong Kong has always insisted on environmental protection.

     This fashion show is showcasing the new clothing line of eco fashion designer, Lucy Shih.

She produces multi-purpose garments with environmentally friendly materials. 
Some of her pieces from her latest collection can be worn in 42 different ways."My clothes can transform into lots of styles. I think that when one material can bring more than one style, it's eco-friendly." Lucy Shih said



   As for me, I more like try using recycle materials like cans, plastic bottles, everything that we are using in our daily life.I think we can changing the structure of the clothing and adding some elements in our life, like wheat plants and materials that can be recycled onto those existing ones will be good enough.
